Opsite Post-Op

Description

Opsite Post-Op is a revolutionary postoperative dressing made of transparent, waterproof film that prevents the passage of bacteria.

The new Opsite Post-Op is a groundbreaking dressing that combines the high moisture vapor transmission rate (MVTR) of Opsite IV3000 film with the protective and absorbent capabilities of a low-adherent central dressing, along with a simple application system.

The hydrophilic polyurethane film, Reactic, reacts to moisture by eliminating excess through evaporation.

Key Features:

  • Bacterial barrier.
  • High absorption capacity.
  • Hypoallergenic adhesive.
  • Low adherence.
  • High moisture vapor transmission rate (MVTR).
  • Rounded edges/thin film.

Benefits:

  • Bacterial barrier. Protects against extrinsic contamination, reducing the risk of infection.
  • Waterproof. Allows for daily patient hygiene.
  • Hypoallergenic adhesive. Unique adhesive distribution.
  • High absorption capacity. Rapidly absorbs exudate, reducing the risk of maceration.
  • Low adherence. The contact layer allows for the passage of exudate, minimizing pain during removal.
  • High moisture vapor transmission rate (MVTR). The patented Reactic film has a unique molecular structure with an MVTR of 3000g/m2/24h, significantly more permeable than other dressings in the presence of moisture.
  • Rounded edges/thin film. Keeps the dressing in place and prevents edge lift.

Indications:

Postoperative wounds, cuts, lacerations, and abrasions.

Instructions for Use:

  • Clean and dry the area before applying Opsite Post-Op.
  • Remove the top protective paper.
  • Apply the dressing with light pressure.
  • Remove the second protective paper and apply Opsite Post-Op over the wound, smoothing it down.
