The ACT Plus® system combines reliable technology for accurate clot detection with advanced features for users, including data management and connectivity capabilities. The ACT Plus® is an electromechanical instrument controlled by a microprocessor, designed to determine the clotting endpoints in fresh and citrated blood samples. The coagulation time results are displayed on the Clot-Time Display (CTD) screens and liquid crystal displays (LCD) of the instrument.

The ACT Plus® system provides long-term data storage and retrieval, allowing access to previous patient data and quality control test results. The test results are stored in the order in which they are performed. The external capability to transfer or export data enhances the flexibility of the system.

The ACT Plus® system is portable and adaptable. It offers the required reliability in Cardiovascular and Vascular Surgery, ECMO, Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories, Critical Care Units, and Hemodialysis Units.
