MONITORING WITH THE 640 INSULIN PUMP

By utilizing the CGM features of the pump, you can see your glucose levels 24 hours a day. The Guardian™ Link 3 transmitter, along with the Guardian™ Sensor 3 glucose sensor, wirelessly transmits readings to the MiniMed™ 640G insulin pumps. Readings are updated every five minutes and displayed on the color screen. These regular updates can help you understand how your glucose level is behaving and reduce your dependence on fingerstick tests. The glucose sensor only needs to be changed every 7 days.
