Description
Renasys Pico is a single-use Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) system that provides 80 mmHg of negative pressure on the wound surface and helps control low to moderate levels of exudate. Each Pico kit includes:
- 1 portable pump.
- 2 lithium batteries.
- 2 dressings.
- 10 fixation strips.
Dressing Features
- Outer polyurethane layer with high moisture vapor transmission rate (MVTR).
- Cellulose fiber layer.
- Air lock layer.
- Perforated silicone contact layer.
Mode of Action
- When the pump is turned on, the air in the dressing and the wound is absorbed, creating a flow of exudate towards the port, where it is stored in the super-absorbent material on the dressing surface.

Therapeutic Indications
Pico is indicated for patients who may benefit from a Negative Pressure Wound Therapy device, as it promotes wound healing by managing low to moderate exudate and controlling local infectious processes. It can be used in hospitals and ambulatory settings for acute wounds, surgical wounds, chronic wounds, partial-thickness burns, donor and graft sites, and skin flaps.
